How is Hughesnet internet installed?

Hughesnet installation is easy. Talk with a customer service agent at 1-844-715-0783 to sign up for the ideal plan for your household. They’ll set up a convenient time for a Hughesnet technician to come by your home to install your satellite internet.

  1. First, the technician will install a satellite dish on a raised surface on the outside of your home (typically the roof).

  2. Then, they’ll lay a cable connecting the satellite dish to your indoor modem through a small hole drilled in a wall.

  3. Finally, they’ll seal up the hole and weatherproof any outdoor equipment.

Once those steps are completed, your Hughesnet internet will be up and running! View the installation process for more in-depth information.

24-month commitment and early service termination fees apply. Visit legal.hughesnet.com for details.

The more connected devices you have, the quicker you will consume your Priority Data. Hughesnet is not recommended as a full-time video streaming replacement for TV service or console-based gaming activities because they quickly consume your Priority Data. Multiplayer games requiring rapid response are only supported with Hughesnet Fusion plans. VPNs, where you sign into a VPN application to access your work network directly, will significantly reduce service speeds. All plans are subject to the Hughesnet Subscriber Agreement.

1Standard Data may be slower during high-traffic periods.

Free standard professional installation valid on Lease option only. Not valid with the Purchase option. Limited-time offer.
